Teaching aims（教学目标）

1.正确运用被动语态谈论物品的材料和产地。

2.掌握一般过去时态的被动语态,由 was/were +过去分词构成。学会be made of和be made in的用法四、通过熟悉我们周围经常使用的物品的历史来开阔眼界，丰富自己的阅历，使自己养成勤于思考，善于总结的好习惯。

3. Language points（语言点）

要求掌握以下句式：

     B: I think it is made of silver.

（2）A: Where was it made?

     B: It was made inThailand.

（3）A: Who were they made by?

     B: They were made by university students.

要求掌握以下词汇：material, chopsticks, coin, fork, blouse, silver, glass, cotton, steel, grass, leaf, produce, widely, process

Difficulties（难点）：be made of 与be made from 的使用及区别。

1. Warm-up and revision（课堂热身）

Groupwork: Show some pictures and have Ss discuss the question in groups:
What are they made of?

     They are made of wood / gold / silver/ paper/ silk / glass.

2. Presentation（呈现新知识）

Pair work.
